By clicking “Agree” or by using the app, you accept these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to enter a binding agreement. Accounts are individual; do not share logins.
Contained Evolution is beta software providing an AI personal assistant and optional specialist “modes” (Engineer, Teacher, Scientist, Legal, Wellness, Devil’s Advocate, Comedian), plus related tools (notes, memory, scheduling, team features). It is offered for general informational and productivity purposes only.
A free tier is available with no card required. Paid tiers (PASS and EVOLVED) and CE credit packs are optional add-ons, clearly marked in the app, billed via Stripe, and can be cancelled at any time. Cancellation stops future billing; mid-cycle subscription charges are not pro-rated or refunded. CE credit packs are non-refundable once purchased — your remaining credit balance stays in your account and can be used or held until you spend it. Applicable taxes and processor fees apply.
AI can be wrong, and we do not promise accuracy. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Verify anything important before relying on it. You are responsible for decisions you make using the app.
Do not use the app to break the law; to harm, harass, or deceive others; to generate content that enables real-world harm; to attempt to breach security or access others’ data; or to violate third-party rights. We may suspend access for misuse.
Our Privacy Policy covers what we collect, how we use it, who else touches it, and what rights you have. In short: we do not sell your personal information, we do not do behavioural advertising, and we do not use your memory or chat content to train any AI model.
The app is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. Beta features may change, break, or be removed without notice.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Contained Evolution LLC and its members are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the prior three months or US $50.
We may update these Terms. When we do, we will increment the version and ask you to agree again before continuing to use the app. Continued use after acceptance means you agree to the version in force.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Venue lies in the state or federal courts located in Michigan.
